This is a topic that does not get discussed enough. I think the community would benefit from a thorough discussion about the science behind this, potential risks, and realistic expectations.

I have been doing something similar for about 3 months now. The first few weeks were unremarkable but results became noticeable around week 4-5.

The lean mass preservation question is what concerns me most with Semaglutide. Studies show up to 40% of weight lost can be muscle. Are you doing resistance training and tracking body comp or just scale weight? Those details matter enormously.

I am at week 8 of Semaglutide and the appetite suppression is stronger than I expected. Almost too strong - I have to force myself to hit protein targets. Setting meal alarms on my phone was the only thing that helped me maintain adequate nutrition.

GI side effects seem to be dose-dependent. I started at 0.25mg/week and titrated up very slowly over 8 weeks. People who jump to higher doses too fast seem to get hit with nausea much harder. Patience with the titration pays off.

The rebound weight gain when stopping is the elephant in the room nobody talks about enough. Two friends of mine gained back everything within 6 months of stopping. The lifestyle changes during the protocol need to become permanent habits.
