Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide for weight management

This is exactly the kind of detailed report the community needs. Too much broscience out there. Appreciate the data-driven approach.

Your spreadsheet approach is the right way to compare these. The dual GIP/GLP-1 mechanism of Tirzepatide theoretically offers advantages but the real-world comparison data from individuals who have tried both is still limited. Which did you try first?
I switched from Semaglutide to Tirzepatide after 12 weeks. The GI side effects were actually worse with Tirzepatide initially but appetite suppression felt more natural once I adjusted. Weight loss rate was similar but I felt better overall on Tirzepatide.
The blood work comparison is what interests me most. Both should improve metabolic markers but the dual agonism of Tirzepatide might have advantages for insulin sensitivity specifically. Did your HOMA-IR change differently between the two?
Cost is a factor nobody mentions. Tirzepatide is significantly more expensive for most people. If results are comparable, the cost-effectiveness argument favors Semaglutide. Unless the side effect profile makes one clearly more tolerable.
