Wrapping Up My Compounded Semaglutide Cycle — Results

Spencer Heath·25 days ago
Just finished my Compounded Semaglutide cycle and wanted to share final results while everything is fresh. Duration: 12 weeks Goals: improved recovery, better sleep, general health optimization Sleep: improved significantly. Average sleep score went from 72 to 81 on my tracker. Deep sleep percentage increased from 15 percent to about 22 percent. This was the most consistent benefit. Recovery: noticeably better. I track resting heart rate and HRV daily, and both trended favorably starting around week 3. Subjectively, I feel ready to train sooner after hard sessions. Body composition: modest improvements. Lost about 2 lbs while maintaining strength, suggesting a favorable shift in body composition. Nothing dramatic. Biochemistry: pre and post bloodwork showed no negative changes. Some positive trends in inflammatory markers but within normal variation. Side effects: mild injection site irritation (first 2 weeks only), slight headache on day 3 (resolved on its own), transient water retention in week 1-2. Verdict: Compounded Semaglutide earned a spot in my protocol rotation. I will run it again after a 6-8 week break.

One thing I wish more Compounded Semaglutide discussions covered is the discontinuation experience. What happens when you stop? In my case, the benefits gradually faded over about 3-4 weeks after stopping. Sleep was the first thing to return to baseline. Recovery improvements lasted a bit longer. Worth knowing for planning protocol duration.

Great point about bloodwork. I ran comprehensive panels at baseline, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks during my Compounded Semaglutide protocol. The most informative markers for me were inflammatory markers and IGF-1 levels. Would strongly recommend anyone running Compounded Semaglutide to invest in proper monitoring.

The timeline you describe is spot on with my Compounded Semaglutide experience. I also want to emphasize the importance of injection technique. When I switched from 30-gauge to 29-gauge needles and slowed my injection speed, the site irritation essentially disappeared. Small details make a big difference in compliance.

Following up on my earlier comment about Compounded Semaglutide. I am now 4 weeks past the end of my protocol and wanted to report that about 60 percent of the benefits seem to have persisted. Sleep is still better than baseline, recovery is somewhere between pre-protocol and on-protocol levels. Encouraging for the sustainability question.

Great write-up. I have been running a similar Compounded Semaglutide protocol and my experience aligns pretty closely with what you described. The sleep improvements were the first thing I noticed too, usually around week 2-3. One thing I would add is that I found keeping injection sites consistent with rotation between 4-5 spots worked better than random placement. Less irritation overall.
